Healthcare Support Home Care, LLC

Do you qualify for in-home care?

Georgia's Elderly & Disabled Waiver Program (EDWP) pays for care at home instead of a nursing home. It is delivered two ways — SOURCE and CCSP — and which one fits comes down mostly to income. Answer seven questions and find out where you stand.

Takes about two minutes. Nothing is saved and nobody is contacted unless you ask us to at the end.

Does the person needing care live in Georgia?
How old are they?
Do they have Medicaid right now?

Having Medicaid is not the same as having the waiver — most people we help have one and not the other. Either answer is fine.

Which describes their household?
Roughly what is their monthly income?

Before deductions — Social Security, pension, disability, everything. An estimate is fine.

$per month
Roughly how much do they have in savings?

Bank accounts, savings, investments. Do not count their house, its contents, or one car — those never count against the $2,000 limit, and this is where most people wrongly rule themselves out.

$
Which of these do they need help with?

Tick everything someone else has to help with, even a little. This is the part that decides whether they meet the level of care.
