Locally owned
Not a franchise. Decisions get made here.
Who we are
It started with a CNA who kept noticing what was missing.
Healthcare Support Home Care was born from our founder's journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant, shaped by years of experience across long-term care, rehabilitation, emergency medicine, and acute care.
Working with patients facing complex challenges taught her the importance of compassion, resilience, and individualized attention. Her time in home care, especially with elderly clients, revealed how powerful it is to support people in the comfort and dignity of their own homes.
Those experiences inspired her to create an agency grounded in quality, compassion, and genuine service — and that is still what we are.
More about the agencyMedicaid waiver — EDWP
Have Medicaid, but still paying for care?
Having Medicaid and having the waiver that pays for care at home are two different approvals — and most families we meet have one without the other. The waiver is called EDWP, delivered as CCSP or SOURCE. We help you apply, start to finish, at no cost to you.

What we provide
Services that support life at home
Why choose us
The difference is who is answering the phone.
Locally owned, not a franchise
We are owned and operated here, by someone who did this work herself. No corporate script, no regional manager three states away — just care tailored to our own community.
Exceptional staff standards
Our staff are carefully selected, thoroughly trained, and supported by clinical oversight, so the care you get is consistent rather than dependent on who turned up.
Relationship-centred care
We prioritise communication, reliability and genuine connection with every client, their family, and our own staff. Most of our work is showing up and being someone worth trusting.
Registered Nurse oversight
An RN completes the initial assessment, writes the care plan, and returns for supervisory visits — so the plan changes when the person does.
Out in the community
This is actually us.
Not stock photography. These are our own people at senior centres, health fairs and partner events across the counties we serve — the ordinary work of being part of a community rather than just selling into one.

Kendra is kind and understanding. She was quick to respond to my questions and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this home health agency as they put your loved one's needs first and help to give you peace of mind during the process.
Haven't had the pleasure of meeting but one lady, Kendra. And she is Fantastic! Very caring, helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and sweet as can be. Kendra goes well above and beyond. We are very blessed to have her help!
Ms Kendra provided transportation and companionship to me spending 8 hrs together. She was very caring, compassionate and also easy to talk to. She helped me to feel safe and very attentive towards me.
This was not my first time using a home health care agency, but I was really surprised that they asked what my sister's likes and dislikes were. They were able to match a home health aid that really care about her needs. She was so professional and did her job like she was taking care of her own family member. I would recommend this agency to anyone that has a love one that needs to be taking care of and treated with dignity and respect.
You must have a good new little nurse. Noticed Mom's belonging folded and drawer clothing fixed nicely. I haven't seen this type of work since mom moved in. Also whoever did last night shift did an excellent job with mom's bedtime turn.

Questions families ask us
Is your agency licensed and insured?
Yes. Healthcare Support Home Care is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in the state of Georgia, and every caregiver is background-checked and credential-verified before their first shift.
How do you match caregivers with clients?
We take time to understand your loved one's needs, personality, and preferences before we send anyone. Skills matter, but so does whether two people will actually get on — a quiet reader and a chatty caregiver is a poor match no matter how good the training.
Can I change caregivers if it isn't working?
Yes. Your satisfaction is the point. Tell us what isn't working and we will keep going until the fit is right — no awkwardness, and no charge for changing.
What areas do you serve?
We serve twenty Georgia counties: Bibb, Carroll, Chatham, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fannin, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gilmer, Gwinnett, Haralson, Henry, Newton, Rockdale, Walton. If you are just outside those, call us anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we can cover you.
I have Medicaid. Does that mean my care is covered?
Not on its own. Having Medicaid and having the waiver that pays for in-home care are two different approvals, and most families we meet have one without the other. The waiver is called EDWP, delivered as CCSP or SOURCE. We help you apply — start with our two-minute eligibility check.
How quickly can care start?
For private pay or long-term care insurance, usually within a few days of the initial assessment. Waiver-funded care depends on the state's approval timeline, which we will walk you through honestly rather than promising a date we cannot control.
Do you provide care overnight or around the clock?
Yes. Awake overnight shifts, live-in arrangements, and full 24-hour rotas. Care is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
