Is your agency licensed and insured?
Yes. Healthcare Support Home Care is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in the state of Georgia, and every caregiver is background-checked and credential-verified before their first shift.
How do you match caregivers with clients?
We take time to understand your loved one's needs, personality, and preferences before we send anyone. Skills matter, but so does whether two people will actually get on — a quiet reader and a chatty caregiver is a poor match no matter how good the training.
Can I change caregivers if it isn't working?
Yes. Your satisfaction is the point. Tell us what isn't working and we will keep going until the fit is right — no awkwardness, and no charge for changing.
What areas do you serve?
We serve twenty Georgia counties: Bibb, Carroll, Chatham, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fannin, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gilmer, Gwinnett, Haralson, Henry, Newton, Rockdale, Walton. If you are just outside those, call us anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we can cover you.
I have Medicaid. Does that mean my care is covered?
Not on its own. Having Medicaid and having the waiver that pays for in-home care are two different approvals, and most families we meet have one without the other. The waiver is called EDWP, delivered as CCSP or SOURCE. We help you apply — start with our two-minute eligibility check.
How quickly can care start?
For private pay or long-term care insurance, usually within a few days of the initial assessment. Waiver-funded care depends on the state's approval timeline, which we will walk you through honestly rather than promising a date we cannot control.
Do you provide care overnight or around the clock?
Yes. Awake overnight shifts, live-in arrangements, and full 24-hour rotas. Care is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
